Frequently asked questions

What power do the booths need?

A standard 120V wall outlet near the setup area is all we need for either booth. We bring our own cabling to reach a typical outlet — if power is unusually far from the setup spot, just mention it when you book.

How much space is required?

The 360 video booth needs roughly 10 × 10 feet, which includes a clear perimeter around the platform for safety. The mirror photo booth, when it launches, will work best with about 8 × 8 feet of level floor space. Standard ceiling heights are fine for both.

When will the mirror photo booth be available?

The mirror booth is on the way but isn't open for bookings yet. Join the Mirror Booth Waitlist and we'll contact you as soon as dates open — before we announce it anywhere else.

How long does setup take?

We arrive before your guests do and typically need about an hour to set up. Setup and takedown happen outside your booked hours, so you get the full time you paid for.

Can the booths run outdoors?

Yes, with the right conditions: a level, dry, covered area with access to power. For outdoor events we will plan a weather backup with you, and service may pause if conditions become unsafe for guests or equipment.

Where do you travel?

We serve the South Shore, Halifax and communities across Nova Scotia. A travel fee may apply depending on distance, and events elsewhere in Atlantic Canada are quoted separately.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes — a deposit secures your date, with the balance and payment schedule laid out clearly in your quote and booking agreement before you commit.

Can you match our theme or brand?

Yes. Custom video overlay design is part of every 360 booking — your colours, monogram, logo or brand guidelines, approved by you before the event. Custom photo templates are planned the same way for the mirror booth at launch.

Do we get prints, digital files, or both?

The 360 video booth delivers short, music-ready video clips digitally — there is no printed output for 360 video. The mirror photo booth, when it launches, is expected to offer printed photos on site plus digital copies to share.

What if our event runs long?

If the schedule allows, your operator can often extend on the spot — just ask. We'll confirm the details with you before any time is added; we'd rather keep the line moving than pack up early.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Let us know as soon as plans change. Rescheduling is subject to availability on your new date, and the full cancellation terms are set out in your booking agreement so there are no surprises.

Is the 360 platform safe?

Yes — an operator supervises the platform for your entire booking, and a few simple rules keep it that way:

  • Guests must follow the operator's instructions.
  • No food, drinks or confetti are permitted on the platform.
  • Minors require appropriate adult supervision.
  • Unsafe or intoxicated guests may be refused.
  • Service may pause when conditions are unsafe.
